The Love School (Chapter 2)

CHAPTER 2

ADITYA'S POV

"Tringggggg....", I hated this sound like anything and that too when I heard it as loud and clear as it was near to my ears. I was not a morning person and hence I hated the sound of my alarm clock. More than that this brother of mine, Abhimanyu, was irritating me by playing the alarm near to my ears.

"Abhi, stop it, warna, tere muh phaad dunga main", I said to him by shifting to the other side of the bed.

"Adi, we want to go to school. Uto, otherwise we will be late", Abhi said to me

"I don't want to go to that hell. I hate that school you know that right"

"Arre Adi, tu bhool gaye kya! We are going to Campion, our new school and not to St. Xaviers. So get ready fast and come, we should not be late for our first day", Abhi said

"Phir bhi muje nahi jaana hai, I want to sleep some more"

"Adi, It's a new beginning. New school, new class, new friends, new teachers and also new girls. I've heard that the girls at Campion are much prettier than the girls at St Xaviers", I suddenly rose to what Abhi said. He looked at me with a playful smirk as he knew that he has won in convincing me to go to school. Abhi is my fraternal twin. He has got my mother's features whereas I have got my father's features. He is my soul brother as there is nothing about me that he is not aware off. He is a very genuine person and is much more serious than me while making life decisions. I don't know what would I've done without him in my life.

I woke up from my bed and started to get ready for school. I heard Abhi talking to Mumma downstairs.

"Good Morning Mumma", Abhi wished Mumma. My mother, Mamta Sachdev, is a typical mother who loves her family and children very much. She is very bold as well as strict in the matters related to her children as she is the one who raised us till now. My father, Aman Sachdev, is at Dubai, where we have our own company, Abad Enterprises, which is very successful. Papa wanted us to settle down at Dubai but Mumma was very particular about our education as she wanted us to study in India itself. Papa agreed to Mumma's decision and hence we settled down at Mumbai. Papa visits us whenever he gets free from work and is a very cool and lovable person.

"Good Morning Abhi. It's your first day know aur iss wajah se, I did special Pooja, Ye lo Prashad", Mumma said by giving Prashad to Abhi.

"Adi ab tak nahi uta hai", Mumma asked Abhi.

"Nahi Mumma, He's coming. He is just getting ready"

"Mm", Mumma replied to Abhi abruptly. By her tone I knew that she was getting angry so I just flew downstairs before she could start her lecture on the importance of rising early.

"I'm ready. Good Morning Mumma", I just went straight to her and hugged her as I knew that she will never scold me by doing this. Abhi chuckled at my antique as he clearly knew that I was trying to escape from Mumma's anger

"Ha Ha, Good Morning, I know that you are doing this to escape from me. But being late is not something that I will appreciate", Mumma said

"Sorry Mumma, I'll never do it again, Aapki Adi ko maaf kar do na"

"Ha Ha, Tik hai. Take this, Prashad." Mumma said while giving me Prashad. My mother is someone who is very religious and believes in Shakuns and Horoscopes. I didn't like this thing about Mumma as I only believed in God and nothing else. Before leaving we both touched Mumma's feet and got her blessings as it was a new beginning for us.

We both reached our new school. The fact that we were no more studying in St. Xaviers made me feel happy. This was a new beginning as I knew Campion will be much better than St Xaviers and even if it isn't also, it's just for two years and after that we would be going to our dream college, Symbiosis at Pune.

We both entered the school. I think the class has started but as it was the first day there were some students outside the classes. I noticed some girls smiling and looking at us and I smiled and winked back to them as well. I think Abhi is very frustrated at my actions as I could see that in his face.

"Arre Abhi, why do you look so frustrated"

"You don't know the reason, right Adi. I hate seeing you winking and smiling at some random girls and also tumhara Kal Ho Na Ho wala "Che Din Ladki In" theory. Arre kabhi tho serious ho ja. Don't you believe in true love?", Abhi asked.

"Arre bhai, there is nothing known as true love. Concepts like true love just exists in films and books. Boys just date girls for fun and girls also does the same"

"So what about marriage? You don't believe in that too"

"Marriage is something that happens between families. When the time comes our parents will find a girl after matching our horoscopes and we will marry that girl according to their wish. Waha pe bhi pyaar nahi hone wala hai.", I replied to Abhi's question. I seriously didn't know why people talk a lot about falling in love and living with the love of their life. I didn't believe in such stupid things. I have dated a lot of girls but never have I ever felt something called as love.

"Okay, we will see. I'm saying this to you Aditya, one day, you will fall in love with a girl who will change all those concepts that you have about love. She will be that person who you can never even think of breaking up with as that will make you break from within. You will do all sorts of things just to bring a smile on her face and you will beat that person into death who even thinks about hurting her. You will like spending your whole life with her because she will be your life itself. You will start telling poetic things about love one day, and that day I'll remind you of this conversation. That day, you will be filled with the warmth of love. That day will be a life changing one for you."

I just gave him a scornful face as if anything like that will ever happen. Aditya Sachdev and True Love, Kabhi nahi hone wala hai. With this thought we both entered our new class. A teacher was present there and she introduced herself as Melanie Miss and said that she was our Accountancy as well as our Class teacher. She asked us to introduce ourselves.

"My name is Aditya Sachdev".

"My name is Abhimanyu Sachdev", we introduced ourselves with a smile.

"We are twin brothers and we stay at Bandra. We come from St. Xaviers.", Abhi finished our introductory session by saying this. While introducing ourselves I noticed a pair of brown eyes staring at me as if I'm an alien. I looked back at the owner of the eyes. It felt as if both of our eyes were glued to each other's. Her eyes had an expression of shock as if she never expected me to come to this class. I just smiled and winked at her for which she glared at me. I was confused by her action but just nodded off that thought as we both went and sat at the back bench were there was a seat vacant.

There were a gang of four boys, of which two of them were seated at the front and two of them were seated at the right of our bench. They were glaring at us and I knew they were planning for an icebreaking session.

"We will ask you just one question for which you need to answer. Are you like those nerdy type guys who always has a book with them and who complains about anything and everything or are you like those over- decent guys who are teachers' pets and never lie to them even after supporting and hanging out with us? Agar tum ye donom type me se ek ho, tho bol hi deta hoon, you are not allowed to sit in this bench. The front benches are vacant for you", the guy who was seated in the front, who looked like the leader of that gang asked us.

"We don't belong to both the categories. We are neither nerds nor over-decent guys", Abhi looked at me after saying this.

"We are those types of guys who stand together no matter what mischief we do", I finished Abhi's statement with my signature smirk. The boy who asked us the question high-fived us.

"I'm Veer Mehra, this is Ashish Juneja, they are Prateek Roy and Parth Khanna respectively", we shaked hands with them and introduced ourselves as well.

"You told you were coming from St. Xaviers, do you know Sanjana Goenka?", Ashish asked us.

"No, we have not heard about her, Abhi tu suna hai?", Abhi nodded his head in denial.

"Arre Dumbo, she has just joined St. Xaviers. How will they know about her?", Prateek asked Ashish.

"Don't mind him. He is like this. Whenever he meets anyone from St. Xaviers, he asks this question. Thoda sa paagal hai uss ladki ko lekar", we chuckled at Prateek's comment.

"Kyun, girlfriend hai kya?"

"Nahi yaar, it's just one-sided love. That girl doesn't even know that he likes her. He was scared to propose her even when she was studying here", Parth answered my question. Ashish just looked at Parth and Prateek with a face that he would beat them as soon as they got out of the class. We laughed at their antiques.

"Arre yaar, I was just going to ask, humare class ki ladkiya kaise hai, pattaane ke liye?", Abhi showed me his frustrated expression as always. I gave him a playful smile and waited for their answer.

"You can date whichever girl you want in this class except three", Ashish replied to my question.

"First one is Amaya, wo Prateek ka hai, second one is Ananya, wo Parth ka hai, and third one is Ag"- "Ha ha samaj gaya, wo Veer ka hai", I cut off Ashish by saying this.

"Nahi yaar, Veer tho sanyas karnewala hai", Ashish said with a smile even though he got a smack from Veer right on his head.

"I don't believe in Pyaar, dating and all. I just believe in the thought, 'single life, thug life'", Veer replied for which all of us laughed together.

"Then what is the problem to date that third girl?"

"Wo patne wale ladkiyan jaise nahi hai. She will not fall for anyone's charms. Wo Agni(fire) hai, tum jal jawoge", I laughed at his description about that girl as well as at his facial expression. He looked as if that girl is some kind of "Lady Gabbar Singh" who is going to haunt him at night. The others were also having the same expression.

"I really don't get it. Why are you all are so scared of her? Kya kiya hai usne?"

"You don't know her man. She is a very bold girl. Kisise nahi darthi hai, Sab log use darthe hai. She hates boys who flirts with girls for fun. She was never like this a year before. Ye Ashish ki pyaari hai na, Sanjana, she has a brother, Virat. This ladki and he was in love and as usual he dumped her and broke her heart. Since then she hates the word love.", I keenly heard what Ashish told me about that girl.

"We've been loving Amaya and Ananya since last year. We know that they love us too. But we are really scared to approach them. She is their best friend and if she didn't like us they will also reject us. We're really scared about that. If she had a lover, we could easily get our beloveds beside us. We pray to God every day for this". I chuckled at Parth's comment.

"Who is this girl? What's her name?"

"The girl's name is Agni Sharma and she is the one who is seated on your left", I looked at my left side to see those beautiful pair of brown eyes looking at me. Tho ye tha wo ladki. Ms. Agni Sharma, l will make you forget your past. I smiled at my own thought as I saw her turn her face towards her friends to talk.

"May I come in Miss.", a voice came just then and everyone looked to that side from where the voice came.
